Mission

Papaya was chosen to launch a new Sydney superyacht-styled harbour dining and bar experience, The Jackson, the new luxury brand from Sealink. This was a major new vessel, and investment in, Sydney Harbour, and a comprehensive PR and marketing strategy was executed and achieved two waves of high-quality media coverage that penetrated local and greater Sydney consumers.

Papaya secured multiple pieces of coverage with a media circulation of just over 5 million readers, viewers and listeners from major publications such as Channel 7 News, Urban List, The Daily Telegraph and Man Of Many.

How we got there

Papaya secured high impact coverage in the pre-launch phase through a pre-media announcement to prep market.

 

Phase one was focused on generating excitement for the arrival of the boat into Sydney.

 

Locking in the large news corporations for when The Jackson arrived at Sydney harbour. Papaya secured major Broadcast TV News, major metro news, hospitality, travel media outlining the arrival of The Jackson including a news segment on Channel 7, The Daily Telegraph, Urban List and Travel Daily.

 

Papaya executed phase two pitching through targeting functions and events media for The Jackson, as this was a massive selling point given that The Jackson can host up to 250 guests banquet style, making it perfect for any special or private event, including weddings, gala dinners and corporate events.
