Did you know that pork fillets have less than half the fat of chicken fillets? Neither did we, but with a team full of pork lovers (did someone say crackling?), working with Long River Pork was a match made in heaven.

To ramp up sales boost awareness for Long River Pork, a targeted and engaging food social media and PR strategy was put together and implemented by the Papaya PR team.

By highlighting the premium quality of the products and concentrating on a strong social media marketing push, we were able to secure:

  • An open rate of 40% for EDMs (double the industry standard)
  • Incredible growth across social media with a monthly reach in excess of 15,000 people

As a result of heavy food social media marketing, Long River Pork enjoyed high EDM open rates which generated 164 sales leads for new products and a highly targeted fan base of over 1,500 people including 200 butchers in the area.
